Welcome to Dunny's page!

I was first turned on to music when I was given a copy of Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast album by a school friend back in 1987, but I got serious about rock music when I heard Metallica's Master of Puppets soon after, and to this day, the late Cliff Burton remains my greatest bass playing hero! I started to take guitar lessons at school, but that didn't last very long, and I was content with just listening (and headbanging) to the music.

It wasn't until I was collared to sing in a band James was drumming in at school that I decided to pick up the guitar again (as vocals aren't my strong point to say the least!) I evolved onto the playing the bass guitar, and taught myself through learning to play along to my favourite songs of the time before going on to learn the theory behind the music.

My musical tastes broadened to include prog rock when I met Andy, and the rest, as they say, is history!
